He revealed that the 26/11 sequence has stayed with audiences long after they left the theatre, was in fact, one of the most difficult scenes to film. In the film, Ranveer Singh plays Hamza Ali Mazari, a conflicted spy whose shock and internal collapse during the depiction of the Mumbai attacks forms one of the narrative’s most powerful turning points. Rampal, who plays Major Iqbal, appears in the same sequence. He praised Akshaye Khanna for “owning” his role, called R. Madhavan a “pure genius,” and expressed admiration for Sanjay Dutt with his signature warmth. His message to Ranveer, however, stood out—“To the beast, the wrath of God… It was a beautiful journey to watch your focus, determination, mad methods… You were unabashed, fearless and endearing.
